Fox or coyote?

I think these make it more clearly a fox. Took these very nearby the original photos:

That's a fox for sure.
This week I saw what I believe was a coyote running along the interstate with an injured leg. Almost stopped because I thought it might be a dog at first. Called animal services who said it was not unusual to see a coyote in daylight. Ofcourse no one was able to do anything about the injured animal.

thats 110% red fox. I hunt predators from mid October until late february, 3-4 nights a week, and that is NOT a coyote.
