I hope some of those folks stay away from Sufficient Self, we have lots of dead deer photos over there. They also need to stay away from the threads about processing birds.

I hope so too, David. I have no problem with hunting for food or to take care of preds. My problem is with the fact that this thread was not identified as graphic pic. Some folks got upset and it wasn't necessary. The Index page doesn't show the topics.

And to the OP at Sands? I have a fox stole that was my grandmothers! 3 foxes, end to end.

Growing up on a farm, you learn to protect your animals real quick and this is a way to do it. Building good fencing is another. I love the gun, and if I had a fox near me.....I'd be getting mine out too...and to those who don't like it....stay in another section! Have a nice day.

I am a hunter and shooter, now that that is out of the way. Around her I would have a hard time convincing a conservation officer that it was after my chickens if I killed it with a rifle capable of 200 yard shot. nice rifle by the way. That is why I use a shotgun for predator control . If it wasn't actively after your chickens you need to get rid of that picture, the body, and follow the 3 s's
