have any of you trapped and removed a fox. we have a den of 5 down the street(this is in town) and i would like any info on how to do this. i have chickens and free range and worry about them as they( the foxes) sometimes jump over onto our fenced in property.

There are a few large sized live traps that you can purchase. You could try anything from scrap foods to raw chicken to lure them in .. Though, you may also end up trapping opossums/coons or cats as well. IF you manage to trap a fox, you could either contact your local wildlife officials/animal control for relocation (if they do that there) or just relocate it yourself. but, you would have to drive it out .. about 10 miles or more to be safe... Most live traps come with a top carry handle with a guard to keep you from getting bit/scratched, but wear gloves when handling the cage.
