Well, we had our first loss today. Our flock of 14 were wandering around in the yard, and 2 foxes swooped in and went through them like butter. They killed 4 out of our 5 Silkies, leaving a rooster. He's really going to be miserable, those 5 were like a little gang. They were always together.
We also lost the sweetest Buff Orpington and our rambunctious little white Auracana.
Our coop will be finished this weekend, then we have to get the run done.
I'm so angry I could spit. Those foxes are on borrowed time.
