I own vol 1—4 , I love thumbing through them whenever i get a chance. Have any of you gotten the pleasure? What is your favorite article, or vol. ?

I read those when I was in middle school, my dad had them. I absolutely loved them! What a cool project and such a wealth of knowledge. I think I borrowed one of the volumes from my dad, for the last 25 years or so. I saw it as I was unpacking after the move.
The article that always comes to my mind when I think about them is the old lady working on butchering the head of a pig and she is having problems with getting the eye out and asks the author for some help.

Oh I have the full set! 14 of them, I think? Bit the first 4 are the best by far.
