Last chance for someone to call dibs on any of my available birds
Bantam White Wyandottes
Bantam Barnevelders
Old English Game Bantams
Delawares
My pet project "Cracker Jacks" (adorable bantams)
I have started Barred Rock cockerels (for the table) too, if anyone is interested in investing 2-4 more weeks in raising them. I just need to know what to pack today.......

I was reading the National Weather Service website. It says it will clear up after mid morning but wind gusts can be 26 mph and with a truck loaded with chickens and a tarp over them I don't want to chance it.
And to top that off, DH broke down on the way to work so his car is on the side of the road until the tow truck can get there to haul it to the mechanic. The worst of it is that my car is in the shop right now being repaired after he drove it for a month!
As I was doing chores this morning and the sun was coming out and the air was calm I thought how crazy I was not to go to the show. By the time I got through with chores all I could think was I wanted in the house and out of that horrendous wind! It felt like the temp dropped by 10 degrees with that wind so now I am glad I didn't go. Brrrr!
Hope everyone has a fun, fine day and stays inside. I am sorry I had to miss it.
I will be at the Clemson show next month. Not nearly as far and I probably won't be selling much of anything either.
Ok so this might be a long shot but does anyone know the guy's name who had the Mille Fleur D'anvers at the show? He had a trio and was parked right before you went into the building where the show was going on.
Beautiful show yesterday in Morganton, Sunny all day, wind was not bad at all. Enjoyed seeing all of our friends. Cheyenne won Reserve Jr. feather leg with her black silkie pullet and numerous other 1st place,BB,BV,RV, with the other 6 silkies! Congrats CHEYENNE!!
