I bought two of these really cheapo 56 egg incubators from ebay back in January.

One is just about a complete dud, and the other works but is finicky and super noisy when things aren't EXACTLY right, and it is getting WORSE. I'm wondering I can gut and fix them with a Incukit Mini a piece. The biggest thing I would like to know is if I would be able to reuse the turners that came with them. I'm not so good with electrical stuff, so I'd want to know if this worked before I bought kits for them.

I talked to someone through their live chat and I'll have to buy the turner motor that comes with the Incukit mini. But I'm convinced I can retrofit the motor to my turner mount since the turning shaft is the same size as my current motor shaft, and a reviewer said it has enough torque to turn 100 eggs.

So I've ordered 2 kits + motors.

If this works, I'll have two functioning 56 egg incubators for $135 after shipping.

:fl

Good luck! I really enjoy my Incukit, it's what runs my emu incubator and it does a really good job.
That is where I heard of it. Today I was looking into DIY incubators and I got the idea to check about converting my junkers with this kit.
