This cracks me up- my roo does that, too, and we call Professor (his real name) FrankenChicken!

He just got his staples out- he had a prosthetic beak, and then when it came off, you could see the surgical staples they used to fix his beak- they showed on each side of his beak in a line, like Frankenstein's Monster's neck!!

I'll have to get a good pic of him lately- when his beak healed, it's shaped like a human's lower jaw- long top beak, with a cupped chin on the bottom, only a third as long. He's devilish looking, but loving as can be.

Did you get yours from Estes? He looks like my Professor's clone!

Frankenrooster came from the hills west of Philomath, Oregon, via craigslist.
They said he was "Americana" (sic), but he's just a big EE type thing.
