Dang! That’s huge! Have you cracked it open yet or are you planning to incubate it?

Both eggs were double yoke. Both yoke’s were the size of large eggs themselves.Dang! That’s huge! Have you cracked it open yet or are you planning to incubate it?
Wow, that's 113grams, most regular eggs come in around 60 -70grams.I didn’t weigh the first one, but the second one weighed 4oz. Which was just a little smaller than the first one. So I am thinking the first one weighed in the neighborhood of 4 1/2oz.

It's a bad idea to hatch a double yolk. Most of the time both chicks die, the odd time one will survive, and very very rarely both will survive. Even the ones that do survive often have issues. If that egg was fertilised, would two chicks hatch? has anyone experienced such a thing?
Thank you! It's a bad idea to hatch a double yolk. Most of the time both chicks die, the odd time one will survive, and very very rarely both will survive. Even the ones that do survive often have issues.
I have a Plymouth Barred Rock that lays eggs like that once a week at least. I tease her about giving me double white eggs rather than double yolks. She's my odd ball. Molly is specialGot this huge egg today. The egg next to it is a large egg. I get one this size every few years. The hen that layed it is a Plymouth White Rock.

Poor girl is right. a sitz bath would be niceOMG that poor hen that laid that egg! Was going to bet it's was double yolked or had an egg inside an egg. Your girls deserve extra treats and calcium after that.
