Freaking out. What age and when do ducklings moult?

When they lose their teenage feathers, do they ever grown in feathers in a new color? Or are they always the same as teens as they are as adults?

I have my first set of ducklings, had them for nearly 3 weeks and they aren't the same species. We think one is a Mallard and the other a Peking- the Peking is older, it's starting to grow adult/teenage feathers, but the mallard is pulling all of the down around the area out as well. The Peking's skin even started to bleed. Has anyone had this happen? Do we need to separate them? Any suggestions would be appreciated
