FREE - 2 BO Roos- Harrison (Chattanooga), TN

I have 2 BO Roos, approx 16-17 weeks old. I purchased them from Poultrylady as 2 day old chix. Good stock and healthy.

Prefer that they are picked up in Harrison if possible. I am avalaible to meet Weds, 6/3 evening, otherwise my next available day to meet is Saturday 6/6, or Sunday 6/7, evening after 6:30pm.

Hey, I am not interested in your roos but I wanted to be sure to let you know what I did to get rid of mine. I tried doing this too( start a thread on BYC ) and I got no reponses and I was losing hope. Then somebody put me onto www.craiglist.org. You may already be familiar with them. I put up an ad for 16 free roos and within 2 days they were gone with 20 responses from 20 people who were interested in my email inbox. It was AMAZING!

Not saying that this thread will not work for you and it very well might. I just wanted to let you in on what i did to get rid of mine. Hope this helps.

I wanted to give this a try first..been kinda leery of craigslist, don't want to end up a victim of some crazy (non-chicken-loving) wacko out there...

You sure you don't want to road trip it this weekend...SE TN is a great place!!!

lol, don't get your hopes up

I see what you are saying as with craiglist you cannot monitor who you are talking to. That is true. Thats why I didn't give my address or phone # to anyone but the one that came. The way they have it set up, you enter your email with the ad you post but to everybody else who looks at your ad sees a random craiglist email address so they do not get your email. It is a risk for sure, so do so with caution. Anyway, good luck getting rid of the roosters period.
