That's great. Thank you so much! I can't wait to see it... Duchess disappeared sometime this past winter/spring. It was probably a raccoon, or hawk, or possibly owl, but I guess I'll never know now.

And maybe someday in future you could do one of poor Napoleon, too.

I would LOVE an avatar when you have time. For some reason, I have never been able to upload one. No matter how (or how many times) I re-size it, it always says its too big. The internet hates me, I think. Maybe if it comes from YOU it will let me have one. I can always hope, right?
I am, in general, a fan of realistic style, but since I am hoping for an avatar I feel the need for something that says 'rainbow vortex'. Interpret that how you will

As for pics... I will let you pick one. I narrowed it down to 4, but I can't decide. Do what feels right.
Should I be cute and fluffy? (EE chick)

(a mutt my broody hatched, its name is "Solstice" cuz of its birthday)

Or should I be bold and inquisitive? (Aloha project chicken is "Blackbeak Larry", the notorious pullet-pirate diva of doom!)

Use your creative license! I'm in no hurry, haven't had an avatar yet and I have been here for more than 2 years.
