Free chick from McMurray

It's sad to say that my two Houdans I got from McMurray (along with my Olive Egger I bought from Meyer) perished to the claws of what I assume was a possum. Now all I have left from the McMurray order are Jersey Giants (which I love). But I have other pictures I thought you all may enjoy.

My Pharaoh Hound (Poppet) was in the back yard. She decided she was lonely, found a way under the house, and was peeking at us.

This is my Columbian Wyandotte X EE from a hatch almost three weeks old.


My barred rock fell asleep during our photo shoot. The SLW is getting ready to pounce on her.


My very first EE hatchling from about 7 weeks ago is watching over the four week old New Hampsire Reds I bought from a local feed store to keep the most recent lone hatchling company.

It dug out a hole right under where they slept. I put some concrete blocks as the floor and covered it hay. There's no way it can get in now.

omg terrifying ..I lock mine up in their barn type coops and triple lock everything ..scares the crap out of me!

Hi I am so excited about my chicks coming may 26-28 that I took my vacation when my chicks are going to come, does any body know what kind of chick is the free surprise chick from murry mcmurray, I ordered 3 buff orpingtons, 4 white orpingtons, and 8 speckled Sussex's, and they are sending me a surprise chick as well.
