i put mine in the free section in my newspaper and they were gone by 9am. Maybe try that, people like having them around I guess.

Still have the Silver Laced Wyandotte and the Barred Rock available. Both hatched 2/14/09 from Gabbard Farms Hatching Eggs.

yes I could. would be the first time though and I would have to find a processor around here.

Havent done it yet? me either-but I will have too in mid summer--I would love to give free roos away-but I figure with the money I spend on them to grow to that point something should come from it that benefits our family---I have a bunch of mixed 7 weekers-roo or not Im keeping-their just to cute--plus I will split up per breed-the others that I hatch out from my own eggs-RIR and BO's well...Im going to have to suck it up and do it myself-if I drove the hour away to the processor and paid for the butchery--were talking like 5-6 a pound it costs me! little too steep for me-

Is there a poultry auction near you. It seems like they are everywhere. We have 2 held weekly within driving distance. Every bird sells.
