free medications (antibiotics)**FOR MY DOG!**

Quote:
The fish-mox has the same production codes on the capsules that the amoxicylin from my vet has on it. I keep it and the fish-zole (metronidazole) on hand for animal issues. Haven't looked into the others yet but seriously thinking about keeping them in stock for emergencies.

Keflex/Cephalexin is the same thing I recently had for a throat/ear infection. Cost me $40 for the generic!!!!!!! (uninsured)
UGH!

I've gotten pink bubblegum flaovred Amoxicylin from my vet for my cat. The bottle said "for animal use only" but don't try to tell me that they make it in pink bubblegum flavor for my cat!!!

Our vet prescribed antibiotics for one of our dogs, and added it to my bill. I paid $300 for the visit, and looked in the bag of meds when we got home. $40 for amoxicillin. They knew full well that I could have got them for $4, and I even had to post-date my check.

Needless to say- we have a new vet now.
