I hand raised a muscovy duck in my house because the mom got killed. When he was old enough, I put him out in the chicken coop with the chickens. He started mating with the chickens so I started to make him stay outside the coop with the ducks at night. He thinks he is a chicken and even challenges the roosters. He must not be around chickens He is handsome and healthy. He is spoiled because he has a spring filled lake to swim in and he free ranges. I just hope to find him a good home where he can be happy, safe and away from chickens.
