Part of our mission in helping the general public is living sustainable, so join us and learn how to make your own. By using a natural resource and turn it into a fertilizer is one way to never use pesticides Healthy soil, healthy plants.
Please bring your plant or seeds labeled or any garden goodies and a container to take home some aloe fertilizer. We love to talk garden with old and new gardening friends. Feel free to bring snacks for sharing.

"Foraging Desert Plants in Az & how to Process Them"
Part of our mission is all about sustainable agriculture-living. Let's dive into some fun favorites that we can harvest here in our Sonoran desert. We will touch on some favorites and how to process them for safe consumption so the general public can have a long time life skill.
The exchange will be from 9-9:30 am then the talk on foraging will start at 9:30 ish. Never consume or apply anything without asking your health care provider.
Please bring your plants or seeds labeled or any garden goodies and have your pen/paper ready for note taking. We love taking garden with old and new gardening friends. Feel free to bring snacks for sharing.

Such an amazing group of giving gardeners!

HUUUGE shout out to one of our biggest donors at “La Fontaine Fleurie” Sherri Szymanski DeGraeve.
Sherri has donated at least a hundred items over the past few months. Bulk donations of live plant that filled our shelves as well as large plant stands, shelves, pots, and lots of soil. And her last donation for the upcoming “Plant and Seed Swap”event in September literally filled up an entire truck bed.
Members like Sherri are the reason our stand has grown over the years and allowed others to grow their hobby, gardens, and skills.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Sherri, for being such a huge supporter and giving so much to others. We appreciate your generosity. We hope to see you soon!!

A Letter from Love for Leaves
Dear Friends and Fellow Kindness Spreaders,
A little over one year ago, I sprouted from a simple idea—just a little dream rooted in kindness, connection, and the belief that sharing even the smallest green things can grow something beautiful.
At first, I was just a humble stand with a few plants and a lot of hope. I didn’t know if anyone would visit. I barely had a name that no one knew...
But then YOU came.... AND continued to visit.
You brought your extra cuttings, your leafy gifts. Then my sister, the Kindness Station, was born—and your painted rocks, your smiles, your kind words started pouring in even more.
And just like that—we were alive.
YOU gave us purpose.
You helped me become more than just a place to swap plants. You turned me into a meeting point, a tiny forest of joy, a patch of peace. You made me a home for pass-along plants, surprise blooms, and thoughtful treasures. But more than that—YOU built a community rooted in generosity, curiosity, and love.
I’ve heard your laughter. I’ve seen strangers become good neighbors. I’ve felt the magic of connection—leaf by leaf, day by day.
We’ve weathered hot days, gusty winds, and quiet weeks. But we’ve also grown numerous plants, met countless new friends, and sparked more happy squeals than I can count (especially when someone finds the “perfect” pothos or a mystery succulent baby)... or discovers that hopscotch has returned!
And now, a new friend is on the way... the Positive Affirmation Path will be visiting —spreading encouragement, smiles, and a little extra light for every step you take. And rumor has it… Hopscotch will be making a return this fall, ready to bring more joy with every chalky bounce.
I may be made of wood and paint and metal and bolts… but my heart is made of YOU.

We are exited to collaborate with Kids Kindness Org to help the kids at Carson Jr High gardening program.
They will be getting some new raised garden beds, soil, and seeds for the next fall planting season.
Feel free to stop by during the set up time to help the garden area.

We love Seed Shepherds who step up and support all the locations. There are too many to name, but here are some fun seeds that will be going out in the hands of the people when the weather permits
