Free range chickens and deworming horses? Can it hurt the chickens

It is time to deworm our horses and the chickens are free range in with them. Can the manure after deworming hurt the chickens? I use Ivermectin on the horses. If it is harmful then for how long?

I just read in a recent journal that horses that feed on grass that chickens are pooping on are very susceptible to various serious ailments from the poop.

I've moved my two horses to a different pasture as a result of what I read.

Oh boy. I would love the link. Thank you. The horses are on 8 acres and the chickens hang on the half acre by the house but still. I have lots of friends who free range their chickens with horses to help keep the bugs down so that was our intent with the chickens too. Hmmm.

Ivermectin is also an approved chicken wormer (bonus)!
