free range egg prices

In NJ we get about 4.00 for free range chicken eggs. Whole foods sells them for $4-6 here, and I never really have a fixed price, but the most I have sold for is $4. Sometimes they go for $3 or if somebody buys 4 dozen I cut a deal, like 2 or 2.50 a dozen.

I sell for $2.50 a dozen...CL has them listed for $3. and up.. Feed store near where I live sells them for $3... I could probably get alittle more but heck, right now I cant hardly keep a dozen back for myself so I figure I'll take a small loss to be constantly selling them.. I never intended to make a killing, just cover the feed cost and I'm satisfied

In West Virginia, we are currently selling our brown eggs for $2.5 dzn , but will be raising the price to $3 dzn soon. We sell on avg 5 dzn a week.

I've been selling mine for $6 a dozen and I can't keep up with demand. I'm in Seattle WA. $7 just seems ridiculous but I'm thinking about raising my price. Free Range but not organic.

My neighbor sells hers at a local farmer's market.. She charges $5 per dozen. We live near Destin Florida but are closer to Alabama.. She has to travel a good ways to reach a higher clientele. I plan to sell eggs next year. Taking this year to increase my flock. I'm hoping to do the same but in a different area..
