(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had pet chickens for some years as we are on a small holding. We are now starting a small Free Range set up for layers and broilers.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have around 35 chickens

(3) What breeds do you have?
We have Zulu chickens and a Lavender Guinea Fowl that thinks its a chicken. Our Free Range chicken business will be Rhode Island Reds.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Online

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Vegetable gardening, horse riding and spending time with my family

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Eish... 4 Great Dane x Boerboel dogs, 3 cats, 3 horses, fish, chickens and a guinea fowl... We work from home which is great and am super keen to hear your ideas about Free Range farming...

Hello and welcome to BYC. I have never free ranged before so I can't give you any advice. I live in a very close a community that does not allow us to free rang. We can not have roosters either. Someone I am sure will jump in and answer soon. Best of luck with your flock.
