Free Range & Juniper/Cedar berries

I am trying to determine if the berries on my cedar trees or juniper bushes poisoned my flock. I was wondering if anyone has free range chickens and plants on the poisonous list. Would the chickens be attracted to the berries?

I have another post going on this same topic but wanted to put "juniper" in my subject to get more responses and personal stories.
