My peafowl fly great! The can fly without stopping across my 5 acre clearing or straight up into the oak trees to roost at night. The long trains don't seem to slow them down at all.

They sure don't seem to slow them down. You're a lucky person, I think a peacock flying/gliding is one of the most wonderful sights. (can't let mine loose so I don't get to see that, oh well)
