Today is my girls first day in their new run.
Hope to finish the coop in a few days.

The neighborhood ROO is already courting.
Does anyone recognize his breed?

As an aside, how do I keep the stinker out of my tomatoes in a few weeks?
I am not sure where he is supposed to live.

Thanks,
Christie

;) Being free range he is hard to get close to - unless he decides to walk in my direction. I will keep trying for a better pic

put him in the run or the oven, otherwise he will be eating maters. looks black sex link roo to me, hard to tell

He's handsome. Coop is nice too.

He's a bio-security threat though. Time to start looking for his owners.

wow! i didnt think of him bein a bio-hazard from outside the coop.
but makes sense. thanks i'll track down his owner.

i bet some of the kids in the hood know where he belongs.

THANKS for that...i am lovin my birds

And my husband has worked his bootay off on my coop.
We designed it ourself after lookin at LOTS on BYC's site/

My chickens were getting into my raised beds so I put some 1'' x 2'' 2 ft tall fencing around them. Chickens haven't been a problem since. Electro net would work well too!

If he's getting as close as he looks in that pic he is.
