free ranging and neighbors flock

When mine get out occasionally, I have to herd them back through the open gate. It usually works a lot better than freaking them out by chasing and grabbing them. I have had to lift the fence once though when I could not get them to go near the gate because they were seriously freaked out and started flying everywhere in a panic to get back inside. Thank goodness for movable net fencing.

okay. yeah i was trying to heard them but they would get to a certain point then freak out and fly in the other direction past me lol. eventually i lured them in by throwing small amounts of scratch on the ground so they followed me back cuz they wanted to check out what i was throwing down. i guess we will just have to get into a routine
