Free-ranging new ducks and goose

The coop is five by three feet and three and a half feet tall. It has all wooden sides, but the front is made of fine, stiff metal mesh with a predator proof latch.

And the coop is also raised up off the ground, so I have to pick up my already free range duck and sit her inside. She waits by the entrance every night.

That is kind of snug for four good-sized waterfowl. And they do need water, absolutely. Do you have a flat-bottomed stew pot that holds a couple of gallons of water? That's what I use with my Runners in the watering station in their night pen, and they cannot knock it over. They have gotten into it, but not knocked it over. And I put sawdust pellets in the bottom of the watering station to absorb spills.

Yeah that's what I was worried about. We are going to build them a bigger house but we can't until next week - we're building on to a massive dog kennel that's 8 feet by five feet wide and five feet tall. Im going to try to pick it up tomorrow to sort of use as a run until we can build wooden walls on it.
I don't really have a pot like that that we can use :( at least not other than the really expensive one that we use for cooking.
