Free ranging owners

How many chickens would you guess you have and on how much free ranging land right now?

Sorry but the Devil is making me do this--every time I see the heading of the topic I think I have to answer thusly. "I haven't freeranged for over 50 years, my wife won't let me."

About 100 birds on 3 acres of pasture. It is fenced, though, but filled with trees, shrubs, and various other greenery. Never lost a bird, except one hen who was brooding in the very back of the pasture without my knowledge. She got taken the very night before I found her nest.

Around 30 totally free range (No fences at all) on about 2 acres.

I have 65 birds on 5 acres.

Somewhere around 55 large fowl chickens on 3 acres. Fenced, lots of trees, even a bridge to hide under!

I have 3 acres total, but my 7 chickens stay on the front acre in the trees, shrubs, and under the porch during hot summer days to take a nice dust bath.

Twenty-five birds free with fences that allow passage of chickens. Range used only about 2 acres with food and water supplied. I suspect range used would jump up to 20 acres if food and water not supplied by me and they would keep weight on. Area in yellow approximates 2 acres. Most of area below and to left of yellow dot is ours, rest not.

I have 17 chickens on a total of 42 acres but they use very little of that.

I'm jealous! I bet it's a lot of fun watching them out there. I'd love to see some pictures of them scattered about.
