I am retired, but the chickens keep me busy.
I live in the Rome GA area on 25 acres.
I would like to give my very beautiful Barred Rock Rooster free to a good home in this area. I don't plan to hatch chicks so he is not allowed in my hen flock. He is 6 months old and very healthy.

I feel a bit odd commenting on my post haha
But I feel I should add that I heard from a relative who is sure she can find Little Jerry(Seinfeld episode by the same name) a good home nearby. That is my only option because I will not ship a full grown rooster. For one I think it's inhumane. Secondly "IM NOT PAYING $50 TO SHIP YOU A FREE ROOSTER" (In my best "Mr. Haney" squall!)
He was intended to be a pullet anyway. I received 15 chicks so I gave my Dad 6..9 was all I could board at the time. All his are hens; I was blessed with a Roo!
