Good luck on finding him a good home!

Thanks for your reply @HenHouse4Life !
I did have "Little Jerry" in with the hens at first. In fact he did fertilize the first eggs that I gathered. But my wife and grown and married kids (36 and 38 y/o) won't eat the fertilized eggs. So...there you go!
Jerry is starting to resent me for spending so much time with the hens! haha
Also, nobody around here wants to eat a family member. Jerry was one of 15 pullets that I received from Purepoultry.com . Idk? Maybe he's a TRAN-sexual. He def identifies as a rooster. Wakes up the whole valley here at 5:30 am!

Welcome aboard! We hope you enjoy your stay!
If you're allowed a rooster where you live you can keep him with your flock if you enjoy him, you can still eat fertilized eggs... they don't turn into a developing chick until incubation (either under a broody or an incubator). Just collect eggs throughout the day on a daily basis and you'll be just fine!

Thanks for your reply @Leahs Coop !
I will try to post on the GA thread. Thanks so much! I am enjoying all the posts and replies in the forum. Have a great Tuesday!
