Hello all, I have just purchased 8 new chicks and 2 of them seem to be males. Unfortunately I live in city limits and can’t have any. If someone is will to take them it would be gladly appreciated. Hey are about a two weeks old.

How do you know they are males? They are just chicks.

From the research I have done at a week long male chicks will have feathered tails. They are the only two out of six with feathered tails.

That’s not true. Chicks feather out at different rates. Only very specific breeds can be feather sexed and Australorps are not one of them. You will need to be patient and wait until they are at least 6-8 weeks old or older to tell. Far too young to sex right now.

Seriously, you don't have enough info here in this thread to tell anyone where to get these chicks. I am guessing from your other threads that it's Central Texas, but I could be wrong.

If you don't find takers on this site, you might try advertising on Poultry Show Central (.com). It's free, you can advertise by state, and you have mostly poultry people looking at your ad.... pretty much like here.

But if I were you, I would wait until they are older to make that call, as KDOGG331 advised.
