Free seeds ( 100 plus different ones)

Its free..

we allways said it was for personal use and /or research/soil testing etc.. which is no lie.. we have bad soil here and trying to figure out what works best.
and yes its for regular people.. I am a regular person and we get them all the time
Takes about 4 days to maybe 2 weeks tops to get seeds. The pacgages come in small yellow envelopes with the scientific name on it and quantity along with a letter how to tell them how they worked.
all they ask is once you have grown them to fill out a little piece of paper saying how they grew and how much it yielded etc.. once you get the papers and seeds they tell you how to do it.
Its 3 minutes of a sentence to fill out for free seeds.. its really simple.

No hook ..no nothing.
I gave my MIL corn seeds and they are like 15 feet high now..They are huge and super sweet and sugary and moist.

Like i said before.. some stuff you cant get .. not sure why or they dont have any available but alot of you can get.. just look thru it and see if they have it to ship to you

Thank you so much for listing this! I have a huge list already of 'wishing' items (including peanuts, I've always wanted to do peanut!!!!!)

Anyways, from the time you submit this, to the time they come... how long would you say?!?!

not too long.. maybe up to a week or maybe 2 tops.. some we got in 3 days.
Some are life plants also.. and some come from different countries. Like soem hot pepper plants from puerto rico i think it was.
All depends where they are stored, availabilty etc.

and maybe perhaps how many people are requesting the seeds ..

Peanuts is cool:)
I got some cotton seeds.. they did good until chickens dug em up and killed em. I was miffed.

This is great, it is hard to find out what will grow in our wet sandy soil. this is a great way to get different seeds

I requested a few things, but this morning I got this email -

Thank you all for your interest in our germplasm program and services. The following are deadlines every season for ordering material from our collections.

Grape/Vitis Dormant Cuttings- Nov. 15th

Cherry/Prunus & Apple/Malus Dormant Scion Wood- Jan. 10th

Cherry/Prunus & Apple/Malus Summer Budwood- July 15th.

Please reconsider ordering with us again next fall.

Dawn

Does this mean next fall 2010 or this fall 2009?
Isn't it summer right now?

So for the cherries, apples and grapes I should wait until like October and request them again?

I got that e-mail also. And I noticed a lot of the fruits are scions, or cuttings for grafting some of them can't be rooted. So you have to have a rootstock(which I do). But I had to order the seeds for the pawpaw and a couple of other things. I guess I am going to try to order again in Oct., too. I can't wait to get the rest though!

Ok so today I got this message

Dear Cxxxx Xxxxxx:
