Ok ,according to google you are 2hours 45 minutes from me, and yes I understand about gas. I use to go to the APA show in El Dorado but stopped because of gas prices. If no one on the board wants them , then I will try advertising in the free publication , if that dosent work, I will try and see if I can figure out away to safly attach a carrying cage I have to my motorcycle.

By motorcycle, huh? That might just freak them out a little bit, lol!

I'm actually 18 miles from town, so it's closer to 3 hours if I head there from here, or 2 hours and 45 minutes like you mentioned if I leave from my Dad's in town, but nother 3 hours back to out here.

I doubt you'll have much trouble finding someone to take them. Silkies are just precious. I just wish I was closer and gas wasn't so outrageous. I'm already wondering how I'm going to get school clothes and supplies for 3 kids by Monday. I guess that's gotta be my top priority right now.

Is the rooster on the loud side or a little quieter? Reason I ask is we are smack in the middle of town. We would love some silkies, but don't want to tick off the neighbors.
