I think it is wrong to paddle. Heck I've only given a light wack on the but twice once for running to the street (luckily I got her before she got there) and once for trying to run from me in a parking lot. We do time outs mostly.

You did the right thing by contacting the mod.

Not trying to start a debate with this or anything. But there is a huge difference between beating a child and spanking a child. Im all for spanking a child if they misbehave. I know first hand that 'time out' does NOT work for some kids.


With that said though..of all places to post about something like that I wouldnt think you would want to put it on freecycle. If so, just state 'Wanted: paddle' you dont go into detail of why you want it and how you are going to use it, etc.
