I'm disappointed though, because our freecycle has a separate freecycle for animals. It was a pain getting subscribed to the first site, didn't realize I'd have to go though it again. Feeling a little discouraged about it all.

I'm a moderator of my local free cycle. It is a great way to keep things from going to the landfills that are other wise usuable. Everything is meant to be free, I've gotten beds, lawnmowers and fencing that was going to be thrown away. Check it out. You can go to yahoo under groups and search free cycle and your county and state.

I get to the three freecycle groups I belong to through Yahoo groups. I've gotten hens, dog houses, a door and several windows for our new coop. We've also given things away to people who can use them rather than have them in the landfill.
