Thanks for your concern but she is a pet Registered in Ohio and
that is why we want her back home.There's no prblem in shipping her as
we have done that before.

The way that post is worded, they are foreign and it is a scam. How in the world is a 3 month old puppy "elegant" and a Yorkie at that. Yappy yes, elegant??? That message stinks of scam.!

Even if this were a genuine offer I still would want to meet the animal before I agreed to take it. Some things offered on FreeCycle aren't as wonderful as they're described, at least with an inanimate object you can set it out with your own trash if you decide you don't want it.

You should report this to your FreeCycle moderators.

And tell these folks there's no need to go through the trouble & expense of shipping the pup to you, tell them "My cousin is the Chief of Police in Haskell and is willing to come to your home and pick up the dog after work today. What is your address, please?"

"I have a friend that lives about 7 minutes from Haskell. Her address is Benton. We would like her to come look at the puppy before we decide to have her shipped. Can I have an address and phone number for her to arrange a time to come see her? Thanks!"

i would come right out and tell them you will not pay for shipping when you have friends / family nearby who are willing to transport for you to meet you. Others are right, its usually the poor grammer that is the clue. Especially when they are so very well spoken in the email and then throw in a word like "aint".

I replied to an ad for an American Bulldog once

got an email back and the dog was in spain and i would have to ship it to the US

my email back to them wasnt so nice tho
