4 wk old chicks are getting the brooder wall of 16 sq ft removed and getting the run of the 100sq ft coop. These peeps were supplied by another byc member and are spunky and healthy with no mortality, feathering is already almost full. I will keep a lamp hanging for them until the temp stabilizes. Another 2 wks and they will have the drop door lifted to give them their first glimpse of the big bad world. These are all rock type chicks.
