This was a good thread. I think alot of people learned something about chickens. And if not, hopefully they learned that you need to be patient.
 
Maybe pampering is part of the problem... Switch them to layer pellets... Add light and add ACV to their water... Check for parasites.. Look for preditors or egg eaters... That is highly unusual... Starting over will give you the same problems if it is any of the above... No chicken can lay w/o light or w/o good diet or with preditor or parasites... I think you will find your problems lie in that grouping... really.. give them 2 weeks of a stay of execution and "run the bases"
