Yesterday was the day my 24 CX went to Freezer Camp. They were processed and vacuum sealed and are resting in the fridge right now, headed for the freezer later tonight. One has been set aside for the smoker this afternoon, beer can chicken. This was my first batch of chickens and I'll certainly do more! I started with 25, and only lost one at 4 weeks due to an accident at feeding time. Below are the weights of my birds which were processed at 7 weeks. Overall I am very happy with the results.
