I love strawberry freezer jam. The berries keep that fresh, lively taste. If you buy some Sure-jell, it should have the recipe inside the box. For freezer jam, you usually mix the crushed fruit together with sugar. Then you cook the pectin and water together, to thicken it. You mix it together and put it in the containers, which sit out for awhile, to thicken. Then you put it in the freezer. The box of Sure-jel pectin has instructions and recipes for different types of jams and jellies.
I don't usually make jam with my raspberries. For raspberries, I sieve out the seeds and add some sugar to make syrup. We love it on pancakes, waffles, ice cream or pound cake. Raspberries would make great jam.
