Freezing Water

Set the waterer on a wooden or metal box with a light bulb in it

That is exactly what I did. Made a box out of 1X8 pine with a 1/4 plywood bottom mounted a light in it and screwed it to the wall and put a piece of 3/16 aluminum plate over the top. Then the waterer on top of that. The plate gets to about 80 degrees, perfect. Just wish I did it sooner.
