That is smart. But I do have a fully grown silkie roo and his half breed son and another silkie baby roo should I make a balchor pad for them and take them out when I want to breed them?

Good plan. The girls need to be with only the breeding male for at least 30 days to produce pure chicks. So if you keep them with no males you can put in your choice Marans male when you want to start setting eggs and get pure eggs right off.
