    Your buddies get to punch their turkey tags the other day?
    Which variety do y'all have? Merriam?

    Yep. We got two more, so we are all done chasing turkeys this fall.

    We have Rio's mostly. At least the flock I have hunted are all Rio. There are some Merriam's in the area as well. I am going to try to go to California for a spring turkey hunt and I hope I can get a merriam there. Then I will have to start planning a way to chase an eastern and an Osceola

    Not a turkey hunter myself...only been once. I'd like a chance at one with my crossbow, though. My hunting buddy thinks I'm nuts.

    I've got a buddy who says he really wants one with his compound bow. He has brought it a few times. If I get good enough at it I am getting consistent with a shotgun, maybe then I'll start thinking about using a bow, but I've got a long way before that happens.

    Anyone keep Americauna Splashes that could post a picture? A rooster's on the local CLfor $10; I haven't a clue what they look like.
