How's your new year so far?

Good. Had to clean the basement last night, parents are coming down. Dad is going to hunt for quail, and probably do some practice shooting with DH and his new gun (Dad is the outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, you name it he has tried it or wants too. DH is a farmer, so he has used guns, but infrequently.) Mom and I are going to process chickens. I think we will make one of the guys do the actual killing. But then we are going to work them. Busy day.

well I hope you all have a nice visit....my best friend and my daughter are coming over today to celebrate Christmas....I will be smoking a pork tenderloin and grilling chicken....and just sharing their company.....since I retired I don't get much company except on here....so it should be nice...enjoy your folks.....Phil

well I hope you all have a nice visit....my best friend and my daughter are coming over today to celebrate Christmas....I will be smoking a pork tenderloin and grilling chicken....and just sharing their company.....since I retired I don't get much company except on here....so it should be nice...enjoy your folks.....Phil

Thank you I will. I have never processed before, so this is all new. Mom has done this quite a bit though.
