French frogs

I'm in and out. Pretty quiet in here this weekend.

Guess we're all waiting to win 900 million dollars or something.

True, I'm really happy the way the room came out. I found a gallon of dark tan paint the previous owners left, and mixed it with a gallon of off-white paint I had brought from CA. Looks so much better than the ugly flat builder's white paint that was in there before.

Tomorrow I'm going to make a bench for under the window to put my plants on, and a table to do small projects on. I have a bunch of weathered wood to use from a fence we took down out front.

That sounds nice.

We've got a big garage/warehouse thing in the back where I can work if it's too cold. - I just shoot the sawdust out the door. But given a choice, I'd rather do projects when it's warmer.

Really want to get a few things completed before my next contract starts, since I'll be working almost full-time for about 6 weeks.

That looks great WV. You folks are getting a lot done this winter. More snow here. I cant believe how much better these foley juvies look compared to the old trash I started with. Hatchery grade SLW. See how dark they are? My new chicks coming up from my Foley birds. A lot of lacing and white!
Looks great!!!! I can't wait to see them when they fully feather out!
I haven't looked, but I have a guess
Hhhmmmm......I must have missed something!
Thanks! :D But I really need his temperament to stay calm and non aggressive. If he gets aggressive he's going to end up in the pot :hit We prefer an ugly calm gentle bird to a pretty and mean bird.
I have one about to go to the pot. My super pretty CLB Cockerel. I am sad. But he is just too mean.
I never buy until it gets over $300 million, either. Like I'd turn down 10 :gig
I just bought one for fun!!! ;)

Good morning all Dan did you get good bacon ?always wondered what they were good for. only place I have use for a pig is on the table . had a feeder pig operation years ago sold hundreds . pure bred Yorkshires sows and Duroc Boars hybrid pigs sold good . never set back up when we came here . .chickens are lighter and somewhat less messy . don't smell no better though

No, she produced nearly all fat. You took a nice big piece of raw bacon put it on the grill and ended up with something a little bigger than bacon bits

I think just pets

Well good for you

Not many people raise pigs down here, Auburn had to ship the counties 4-H pigs from Mississippi

Not the best pigs I've ever seen, mine have a dry raspy cough. Think they'd have done better to find a small guy but getting over 50 feeder hogs the same age would be hard for a small guy.

Looks great!!!! I can't wait to see them when they fully feather out!
