Still have alot of finishing touches, but the birds are in their new homes. Was cold and raining today, so I didn't mess with it.
Had to herd them into the coops last night, waiting to see if they go in on their own tonite.
You did a really nice job on them coops....
I got a ton of projects like that running through my head....spring is a ways off yet.
And yes we are in the single digits today. I didn't even let the ducks out into the yard.
They wouldn't stay put any way.they would just keep running in and out and I felt it was better not to let heat escape from their little shed.
I put heat lamps on but it says it's still almost 30 degrees in there.
My daughter is coming home to watch the ducks while we are gone. It's supposed to be cold so I'll probably have her leave them inside. With the lamps on. And just spoil them with snacks while we are gone....

Plowing snow is a biotch, plowing blind would be a nightmare!
Thanks guys, we worked hard on it. The good news is... I have room to hatch more!
Posting some of the extra boys on CL now, hope I can get rid of them. I caught some mating going on last night, just before dark. And one of the GS boys looks like he's getting picked on a little.
