French frogs

Thanks for helping with the sunset Phil.

Alot more snow south of me, but I'm glad I braved it to check on my chicks because the automatic door was stuck! The track had ice in it. Luckily they were stuck inside instead of outside! Whew.

Aww thanks for posting these! Gorgeous! And I like that blue copper too! :thumbsup

The older one should be laying real soon and not much longer for the others... they're split so chicks should come out 50/50 Lav and splits...

The blue copper is still not great, but I think he's better than his dad so far... still have a few young blacks and blues too young to tell anything yet...

Glad you got to your chicks ok...

She has a nice broad chest, should make some pretty babies.

My crazy littles were all on top of their coop tonight when I got home, instead of in it. Good grief I gotta put on a pot of coffee. I'm froze.

We have had a few cold days here too. Last two weeks of december I had to defrost water twice a day. At least the dispenser part.

What's your gut feeling on your BCM? I'm thinking of getting another flock soon, and I'm leaning towards Brian Parks, but he's in Oregon. Florida is a much shorter ship

OK, I was turning eggs this evening, and I pulled an SC.

I candled a few, even though it's a day early. In most of the blue eggs the veining was readily apparent. In the cream or white eggs I had veining in at least half, the other half I could not tell. In the tan brown and dark brown eggs I couldn't see chit.

Is it normal to see the yoke still moving around and lose in the shell?

I wanted to share with you freaks first, because I think y'all understand me, and y'all be my peeps

Congrats on the good progress. It will be fun to see how these eggs hatch out. Bet the kids are having fun with it! Did they candle with you?
