I ran across a picture the other day, and thought "what a great idea!"... so I have been working on this project for a few days. Its not quite finished, but now I guess I'm ready for advice on completion.

I'm planning to put this in my new run... a "nightlight"







So I haven't glued the lights (122 of them!) in the holes yet, because I can't decide if I should paint around the letters first, and if so, should I use silver metallic paint, or maybe bright yellow? Or something else.

Here's where the idea came from... because Armand is the king of the new run, and his name came from Robin Williams' character. And ... well.... its a BIRD CAGE!

And also his naming was a group effort, so I thank those who helped! SC and Ravyn for sure!

Open to thoughts and suggestions....

I think there is a balance. Bullying used to stop over the weekend/summer. With social media, there isn't always the break. But I think being able to handle a little teasing is important.
I agree. Lots of racists against blacks where I grew up. I think that was primarily because there were none in the county.

I grew up around Detroit.....Where I live now it's all Finlanders and Indians. Seems to be just as much racism though. Personally I hate it.

It looks great. But I think you will be happier with it during the day if you paint the letters with Metallic gold.

I was thinking silver, but I do have gold too. And knowing myself, you are probably right.

I was thinking silver, but I do have gold too. And knowing myself, you are probably right.

I wish I weren't such a perfectionist...

do both. if you are going with white lights, I'd put the gold first, then outline with silver.
