Quote: I have a 20 year old bottle that I was too scared to use. It is an industrial solvent that workers realized made their painful hands feel better.
It was never FDA approved. If it is not available, then did they find that is does cause something?
I did a google search and apparently you can still get it at walmart.
But after reading up on it, I might use up my bottle on cleaning paint brushes. It sounds like it would also do a good job around the house. (Mine id 20 years old-it may have broken down a bit)
They are now doing research on it preventing Alzheimer's
It is either a wonder drug like aspirin, or it is a great placebo.

Well, either one of my Wyandottes is restarting with little eggs, or one of the EE pullets is a brown layer (going by comb color--and, by the same means, the green egg from the other day is definitely from a young'n--no way is Cookie laying with a comb that pale!)

Don't you just hate closed minded people that lump others into a stereotype and place judgment on them without really getting to know them?

From what I've read lately, this seems to be a weird laying year.
My lavenders are finally starting, when I figured they'd wait till spring. My little bantam cochin is still unknown, but she's plenty old enough. I did get another very small egg yesterday, but I still haven't gotten them all to lay in the same day to definitely determine who is laying it! And the little eggs I get are always yolk-less...

I think they just like confusing us..

Oh, and I noticed my youngest bantam OEGB girl is starting to get red..
