Ummm... they are not good layers... seasonal only, though the ones I got do seem to lay really well (for Calls at leadt)... eggs average out around 50 grams...

Might have something for you to try though...

Cute little fuzzbutts...I may ask for a couple of eggs slid into the box...how are they as layers? Reasonably productive? I do have people wanting duck eggs but I am guessing they are small like the ducks themselves?

man I'm not going to complain about the cold . looking at those pictures makes me glad I live in the south . about forty now down to ten by daybreak . I can live with that . cold hands watering though . I have been thinking about making a concrete water base that is heated with bulbs . about to go out and pull the water so it don't freeze . I tired of doing that .

.....going to be a long slow drive home tomorrow.
.....got a couple feet of snow so far and not going to let up till midnight Monday.

don't know whether its my laptop or the website I haven't been able to hold the site all night . till a little while ago . I've to sigh on with pass word tonight and never have to do that .

So glad my heated water base is still hanging in there! Don't think I could get anyone to change out the water daily when we're not home.

Hoping the weather warms up so I can get some eggs shipped. Will probably be a couple more months though.

Only 40 for you? Chit, we're down to 25 already, lol... rubber tubs and nitrile gloves help...
