They're all gilts Bert. They don't go any where, the minute they're free they go to find a person. But they have 3 fences to go through to get to the outside world. Though I doubt those would hold them if they wanted to get out.

Bucket trained? I can walk out the door and they start squalling with excitement. But yes they are bucket and whistle trained.

They were looking for acorns. They discovered those about a week ago, they go gaga for them

they associate the bucket with feed.

so if they ever get out, or you need move them, they will follow you when you have the bucket.

all my cows were bucket trained......but you had to put a few rocks in it to rattle around.

I guess my chickens are ice-cream-bucket trained. I carry an ice cream bucket to the coop to collect eggs, and they follow me like puppies!

Well, actually they do that no matter what I'm carrying!
