I was so beat up and tired I slept hard last night. I was supposed to get up and go fishing this morning...didn't make it. Didn't really feel up to the 75 mile drive to meet the guys at 5am.

yes there are lots of lakes right here. I live in little lake...named after the lake. This was just one of those day trip deals. But after two straight days fishing I was just beat. ICE fishing takes a bit of energy. Loading and unloading the snowmobile and equipment.etc. And my body is some what broken. (That's why I take the morphine). Miss having kids around to help and spend time with...:(
 
Oh I appreciate the sparseness, and I suppose DH wouldn't think twice about driving over an hour to go ice fishing. It just doesn't sound fun, especially when you have nice lakes so close
